We have arrived in Washington DC. We are staying at a new Motel. The Days Inn in Arlington. The picture is our closet! Oh well it is a place to sleep. One plus is the shuttle to Metro, no cab.
Because of the 2 hour delay in Salt Lake City the flight was a whole lot longer. The drive into DC was uneventful, We didn’t get lost. Amazing for two fooders from Oregon.
Our dinner was at Rincome (Thai Cuisine) see link below. This is our 3rd time at this restaurant. It was superb!!!! We started off with glass of Firestart a Pino Grigio from Oregon, a smooth sweet white. Followed by Mee Garb, Spring Rolls, Shrimp Satay (bacon wrapped shrimp), Larb (chicken), Rincome Chicken, I think we other thing but the wine is affecting what I remember ( 2 bottles will do that to you). The atmosphere is wonderful, the owner and servers remember us from last year. That is amazing. We had a great time. As always was it was memorable. I will always try to visit this restrurant when we are in DC area. If you visit Washington DC find this place you will not be disappointed. You have to like Thai.
Tomorrow we are venturing into the Capitol. More food to eat.
Later,
